This piece was constructed around a beautiful point of Veracruz Amethyst that was drilled by me here in New Mexico. Photos do not do this stone justice, its subtle color and intricate form are exquisite. The stones joining it are blue chalcedony, Zacatecas turquoise and black tourmaline. The turquoise I purchased from the person who sourced the material and made the beads in Mexico. The necklace measures 26 inches around, and the point measures nearly 2 inches long.
